Our MMOs are fully trained and experienced marine biologists specialising in marine fauna observation adhering to UK JNCC, Irish NPWS, Canadian DFO, Brazilian IBAMA, Australian DEWHA and New Zealand DOC criteria. Our MMOs are an essential requirement for the successful implementation of marine mammal mitigation guidelines during offshore geophysical surveys, construction, decommissioning and scientific projects world-wide.
Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Operators
Our PAM Operators are experienced marine acousticians with in-depth knowledge of deploying, maintaining and operating numerous brands of PAM equipment in industrial and scientific contexts across the globe.
Environmental Scientists
Our team of marine Environmental Scientists have significant experience conducting Habitat Assessments (HA), Environmental Baseline Surveys (EBS), interpretation of geophysical data, formulation of survey sampling strategies, collection of sub-sea video-graphic data, drop down camera systems, identification & delineation of Annex I benthic habitats, Van Veen grab sampling, drop & box core sampling, physico-chemical sediment sampling, macrofaunal sampling, water column sampling, benthic taxonomy, specimen fixation, MMO and PAM.
Protected Species Observers (PSO)
Our PSOs are fully trained and experienced marine biologists specialising in marine fauna observation adhering to BOEM, BSEE and NMFS criteria within the Gulf of Mexico and US waters.
Marine Fauna Observers (MFOs)
Our MFOs are fully trained and experienced marine biologists specialising in marine fauna observation within Australian waters.
Marine Mammal & Seabird Observers (MMSOs)
Our MMSOs are fully trained and experienced in marine mammal and seabird observation adhering to JNCC guidelines and European Seabirds At Sea (ESAS) protocols within Greenland waters. MMSOs have extensive knowledge of northern hemisphere marine mammals and European avifauna throughout all plumage stages.
Fisheries Observers
Our Fisheries Observers have experience conducting biological sampling on target and by-catch species; monitoring compliance with fisheries regulations and maritime law on pollution and waste disposal; optimising by-catch mitigation measures and seabird and marine mammal observation and identification aboard fishing vessels world-wide.
Research Assistants
Our research assistants can be commissioned to conduct both field and desk base activities with specialist disciplines including: rigs-to-reefs, decommissioning legislation, benthic ecology, marine mammal science, fisheries science, ROV science, fish ecology & physiology, polar ecosystems, deep sea biology, ecosystem modelling and maritime law.
GIS Map Production
Our scientists are well versed in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) including both ArcGIS and QGIS to create visually spectacular maps for environmental reports, scientific literature and research papers.

We maintain an active presence within the academic community and are experienced in the formulation, review and publication of peer reviewed scientific research papers within leading scientific journals.
Environmental Reports
All our field and office based scientists are well versed in the production of comprehensive yet concise environmental reports. We specialise in the formulation of MMO & PAM field reports, Habitat Assessments (HAs), Ecological Baseline Assessments (EBAs), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Marine Mammal Mitigation Plans (MMMP) and Marine Mammal Advice Documents.

Oceanographic & Acoustic Equiptment
We provide a plethora of oceanographic and acoustic equipment for application to both industrial and scientific situations. We specialise in the provision of PAM equipment, C-PODs, T-PODs, sub-sea camera systems, Conductivity Temperature Depth (CTD) profilers, Van Veen grab samplers, box core samplers, drop core samplers, Wilsons auto sievers (WAS) and Niskin bottle single and rosette water samplers.
